MaffeisNetwork SA is proud to recommend you the important international date that we have organized. This event has been created to spread over the culture of peace and solidarity through all the generations. The event is promoted by Association no profit Culture Ticino Network.
The 4th World Forum of Peace, entitled “The Family and the new social context in the world: from the ’60s to today”, will take place from the 8th to 10th November at the Università della Svizzera italiana, the Palazzo dei Congressi and different locations in Lugano. During these three days there will be round tables, expositions, workshops for schools, lunch of solidarity, fundraising dinner and much more.
The inaugural day, which is the 8th November, will take place from 14:00 p.m. at the Università della Svizzera italiana in the Auditorium to begin the first round table. This time we will discuss about “Relations for Peace”, interpreted as interpersonal relations which exist in the family, at school, at work, in a group of friends and in the society. Our goal is to understand how these relations influence the birth and the development of virtues such as solidarity and respect of the other; these righteousness are indeed essential to approach to a path of Peace.
There will be celebrities of the cultural landscape of Ticino, ambassadors, promoters of peace and representatives of other organizations which work in this field.
